Day Twenty Seven of LOCKDOWN!

We enjoyed quite a restful day today.

Jory can now complete his Europe puzzle on his own; he enjoys pointing out different countries/features on the map

They had fun role playing this morning

Defending his Viking longboat

Mummy was holding the sail in the boat

Battle of the Vikings vs. the knights

Keeping the sail up

All asleep on the longboat

Thor and his hammer

Making Viking helmet pizzas for our lunch

Everyone enjoyed making them

Ptolemy's meat feast

We played lots of outdoor games this afternoon; this is 'Farmer, farmer, please may I cross your field?'

Pleased that our cherry tree is in blossom - hopefully we'll have some fruit this year!

Raspberries are also doing well

And our gooseberry bush has lots of flowers coming too

A fun assault course

Egg and spoon racing

They had to do a lap

We had a new board game to try, called 'Viking Voyages'

Collecting some cards

Next, Zachary and Daddy played a game called 'Travel the World'

Elmer is decorated; he'll have further embellishments once the glue is dry

Tahlia and Ptolemy have been decorating their own pretend laptop

Mummy and Daddy made a delicious beef casserole which everyone (except Jory) enjoyed; they especially like Yorkshire puddings
