Day Fifteen of LOCKDOWN!

Daddy wasn't working too much today, so he could help out with the kids quite a bit.

Mummy and Jory headed out shopping to get a few supplies ready for Easter

Once again there was quite a queue outside; however, the line moved very quickly

There hasn't been any flour in any of the supermarkets we've visited for several weeks
(but we did manage to get some toilet roll and pasta!)

After lots of maths and reading, they chose the Beetle Drive game to play with Daddy

Ptolemy wanted to play his Spiderman matching pairs game again

We enjoyed another of our chocolate-related activities by taking part in a hunt for Willy Wonka's golden ticket!

Zachary found it - every time, to the dismay of the others!

They all took it in turns to hide the Wonka bars

Waiting to be called back to look

Jory popped out for a breath of fresh air

His favourite thing to do

King of the castle

We continued making our Holy week books; Zachary also did a worksheet about why we need sleep

Jory has learnt how to write Morrisons; now, he's moving onto Sainsburys; he had a meltdown when he realised he'd written a 'z' instead of an 's'

Next we did a fitness activity to get them moving...

Zachary doing his 10 push-ups

The next challenge was to jump over a rope 20 times

Here goes...

Tahlia tried to make it extra hard for Ptolemy

Ptolemy tried it a different way

Holding it nice and tight

Jory is horrified that they've raised the height

It was Tahlia's turn to open the Resurrection egg; this time, it was a whip and crown of thorns. We read about how Jesus was whipped and had a crown of thorns put on his head (so the people could mock him) before he was crucified
