Day Sixteen of LOCKDOWN!

Today was a more taxing day, as Daddy was working solidly all day; the kids were particularly demanding and seemed to make an awful lot of mess!

As always, we started with PE with Joe which is always good fun (and strenuous!).

Bumble (Grandma) sent a lovely knitted rainbow for us to put up in our window - Tahlia loves it!

Bumble also sent some worksheets which they enjoyed doing

We had a go at egg blowing, ready to make some painted egg decorations for Easter

You had to blow hard to get it out!

Tahlia's worksheet about Passover, which we will look at in more detail tomorrow

They had a great time doing a European puzzle together; it was nice to be reminded of Brexit for a change!

Everyone was getting involved...

Until Jory decided they were doing it all wrong and couldn't take it anymore!

Puzzle complete!

We prepared a lamb hotpot for our 'Passover meal' tomorrow

Someone got a little distracted!

Tahlia is making a rainbow picture for Bumble and Grandad to put up in their window

We make a craft scene of Jesus clearing the temple

Jesus lifts his hand angrily to knock over the tables of the money lenders who had set up shop in God's temple
(the flap moves to change the sellers' reactions)

We also decorated the next few pages of our Resurrection book

They had fun playing Avengers superhero themed Happy Families

We made a passion cake using 3 different fruits and one vegetable -can you guess what they were?

Tummy Ache is a classic game in our house

Tahlia loves doing mazes at the moment

They made up some of their own games outside

Playing with sticks

Zachary discovered a new fruit that he hadn't seen before; he liked the smell though

It was Ptolemy's turn to open an egg

It had nails in it to represent the nails that were put through Jesus' hands and feet

Jory opened an egg too and found a die - the soldiers cast lots to see who would win Jesus' tunic after they took it

Ptolemy tries to sneak the next one
