| We read through a science book about microbes and did the related activities; some were similar to others we'd tried, but they were keen to do them all |

| We tried different materials to see which felt most similar to skin and would allow you to bend your finger |

| Then we tested them in water to see which were waterproof; the tissue didn't make it, but the plaster and cling film survived |

| Our next experiment involved finding the best way to wash off some floury gunk |
