Day Fifty Four of LOCKDOWN!

We started our day with our own exercise challenge, using Zachary's exercise cube

Then it was time for pirate day!

They enjoyed doing some pirate-themed colouring

They enjoyed a fun game on the stairs in which by drawing cards the shark slowly tries to catch the pirates, while they try to escape!

They played a quiz game; if they got a question wrong then they had to 'walk the plank'!

They built their own pirate ship out of chairs

They ate some 'hardtack' (seafarer's biscuits)

They snuggled up under a rug to keep warm

For our lunch, we made our own treasure islands out of dough

Tahlia went for a long, thin island with a sandy beach in the south and volcano in the north

Most of them enjoyed eating their pizza...

...others were outraged that their cheese had melted

They enjoyed a tasty pirate ship afterwards

We were about to hunt for treasure, so Tahlia showed us which way to go on her treasure map
