Day Fifty Six of LOCKDOWN!

It was warm and sunny today (21°C), so we enjoyed playing in the garden

Playing a board game called Alpha Animals

Jory spent quite a while decorating the conservatory wall with chalk

Sticking to our children's literature theme, today we had a Peter Rabbit day...

After reading the original book, we imagined we were Mr McGregor planting seeds and weeding his fruit and vegetable patch

Peter Rabbit colouring and activities

Comprehension based on an excerpt from the book

Tahlia had a fiddle on the phone for some bunny selfies

We made our own version of Mr McGregor's garden out of lolly sticks

Tahlia drew some fruit and vegetables to stick in the garden

The finished garden

We played a few Peter Rabbit themed board games (borrowed from our friends - thanks, Harrison!); in this game you had to avoid getting caught by Mr McGregor!

In this game you had to collect all the veggies before heading to the finish

We had to dig into an egg box covered with green tissue to see what fruit and veg we could find

Digging for victory; unfortunately she had some lettuce and wasn't too impressed!

Ptolemy was very pleased to find a grape!

Jory found a tomato (and had a quick bite before discarding it)

We played some games of 'hide from Mr McGregor'; the winner got a strawberry
