Day Ninety Four of LOCKDOWN!

Today we headed to Wildwood Escot as it has now reopened. It reached 30⁰C today, but fortunately there is lots of shade at Escot.

Lots of fun bouncing on the trampoline; unfortunately after 10 minutes a lady came to tell us we weren't allowed on it (the sign had blown away)

Lunchtime!

Climbing to the top of a lookout tower

Checking the rules

Unfortunately, all the adventure playground equipment remains closed, so we had a climb instead

There are quite a few interesting trees with low branches for climbing

Posing for a photo

The Escot bridge

Tahlia was the only one brave enough to go on this rope swing, but Jory was very happy to pull it

Time for a rest in the shade; we also played lots of hide and seek in this area

Watching the otters

Unfortunately the maze was also closed, but the Saxon village was still running; the sign reads: unattended children will be sold to the Vikings
Shaving the bark off a tree

Carved chairs

They enjoyed listening to the man tell them about how he turns grains into flour
Tahlia kept this man talking for a while and wanted his photo

Tahlia took over as photographer and found some things she liked to photograph

Saxon warriors

Pretty flowers

Flowers are Tahlia's favourite thing to photograph

Daddy enjoyed watching a film today, but had to wear his eye patch!
