Day Three of LOCKDOWN!

We were mostly inside today, but with a plan: An Ancient Greeks themed day (the second part is tomorrow).

Kneading Ancient Greek Pelano bread (made with barley flour and wholegrain wheat flour)
Whilst Zachary did an Ancient Greeks comprehension worksheet, the others coloured in pictures of mythological monsters

Zachary puts events from the Ancient Greek timeline in date order

We had fun designing our own Labyrinth mazes with Minotaurs in the middle

Jory enjoyed a short wander with Daddy

We talked about Archimedes principle of buoyancy and did some of our own tests

Testing two ketchup bottles - one full, one nearly empty

A Greek letter hunt in the front garden

Zachary was in charge of crossing off the ones we'd found

They all enjoyed getting involved

Ptolemy was delighted to find one (he found most of them actually)

Marking off the last one (we couldn't actually find it, but Tahlia often likes to cheat!)

Dressing up as Ancient Greeks

We made an Olympic torch, ready for our Olympic games tomorrow
