Uncle Humphrey and Auntie Amanda Come to Visit

We very much enjoyed a recent visit from Uncle Humphrey (Daddy's brother) and Auntie Amanda. Here's what we got up to:

On the way up to Hound Tor

Excited face

Trying to keep her hat on in the wind

They all loved the interesting rocks to climb

Nearly at the top

Ladies love hats

Waiting for the girls to catch up

Jory still has loads of energy

They decided they wanted to climb to the summit, but didn't make it very far as it was a little steep

Jory leads the way

Heading down to visit a Medieval village

The back of Haytor; sheltering from the severe wind

As high as we could go without being blown off!

Relaxing at the base of Haytor

All that climbing takes its toll

Back down away from the wind

Ptolemy thinks Tahlia's story is hilarious

Lots of reading going on

Tahlia photobombs the map reading

Pleased with her new pyjamas - thanks, Auntie Marilla!

Connect Four on Plymouth Hoe

On the way to the war memorial

American Amanda was especially excited to see the Mayflower steps

Jory realises where he is at last

Like father, like son

Looking out onto the Marina

Lots of pretty boats - Jory loves them

Ptolemy gazes into a mirror for the first time and like what he sees!

Tahlia is delighted to visit Sidmouth

Blowing raspberries for the camera

Rock climbing on Sidmouth beach

Not sure of the sea

A stone nearly the size of her face

Ptolemy loves the seaside

Jory escorts Humphrey back to the promenade

Tahlia also loves boats

Hitching a ride back

The sandstone arches at Sidmouth

Connaught Gardens

Lovely money boxes from Humphrey and Amanda
